The 2013 BMW 3-series is one of the latest version of 2013 BMW. A redesigned 2013 BMW 3 Series makes news with the addition of a four-cylinder powertrain and a hybrid system. Other 2013 BMW 3-series fuel-efficiency measures include a lighter curb weight, smarter automatic transmission and auto start-stop and regenerative braking technology.
Despite the new green emphasis, BMW promises that the new 2013 BMW 3-series will be faster and handle better than the outgoing model. The new 2013 BMW 3-series exterior sheet metal gives the 3 Series a wider and meaner-looking stance. The new 2013 BMW 3-series platform’s track is 1.45 inches wider, and the wheelbase is 1.85 inches longer than before.
The next 2013 BMW 3-series is based on a new compact, rear- and all-wheel-drive architecture. Like today’s lineup, expect a station wagon, a coupe, and a hardtop convertible. One of the new 2013 BMW 3-series advanced EfficientDynamics technologies to make its way into the next 3-Series will be a so-called air curtain. Using a special series of ducts and vents, the 2013 BMW 3-series system directs air in a manner such that it slips neatly over the wheels, which are normally an area of high turbulence, and therefore energy-sapping drag. First view happens at the 2012 Geneva auto show or maybe a few months earlier. Prices remain in the $35,000-to-$50,000 range.
