2014 Acura MDX Price 44 175

The 2014 Acura MDX is one of the latest version of 2014 Acura. A 2014 Acura MDX prototype doesnt look much different from the current model, which isnt a bad thing for people who appreciate the MDXs conservative styling. The base 2013 Acura MDX starts at $44,175, including an $895 destination charge. Pricing was not announced on the 2014 MDX.

The 2014 Acura MDX will house a new direct-injected, 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine that Acura promises will deliver more torque and efficiency, likely coupled with the same six-speed automatic in the outgoing car. Considering the 2014 Acura MDX is EPA rated at 16/21 mpg city/highway, theres definitely room for improvement.

Along with the peppier engine, Acura says the 2014 Acura MDX will be more rewarding to drive, thanks to an all-new chassis thats more lightweight and rigid because of new front and rear suspension designs. What really piques our curiosity is the question of whether Acura will ever offer an MDX Hybrid using the 370-hp powertrain from the 2014 Acura MDX. Acura is calling this 2014 MDX a prototype, but thats only because it isnt 100-percent finished. Everything you see here will likely carry over to production, maybe with a couple small tweaks. Under the hood is the same 3.5-liter V6 that we know and love from the Honda group, and while we dont have power figures just yet, Acura says it will deliver more torque while improving efficiency.
